RHI I'm looking for a good vet for my dogs spay. The prices seem astronomically high round here so if I'm going to be paying so much I want her to have the best :)

ForestLodge Vets we are with the Pennington branch but operations happen in New Milton. My Labrador was treated like the Princess she is
Peter C. replied:
Seadown is the best and have been using them for 25 years. They have a Vetinary hospital in Hythe- apart from the surgery in Lymington. Wouldn't use anyone else!

Well worth travelling to Natterjack Vets. I take all my animals there and as I foster dogs I'm pretty much there weekly! They really care about the animals in their care and Andy set the practice up to offer affordable vet care:)
Julie R. replied:
has to be ForestLodge Vets then

Highly recommend https://www.facebook.com/128419843931319Natterjacks Vet in Boscombe the team there are amazing! I have a very nervous FCR who hated going to the vets. I switched vets to Natterjacks and so glad I did. The nursing staff are awesome. My dog has had various surgeries there and is being spayed this year. Half the price than other vets. My dog has under gone fairly major procedures and all have been successful and she loves going to the vet now! 5 stars from me.
Can anybody reccomend a farrier who will happily look at x-rays from my vet & do some corrective trimming on my mare within the next couple of weeks?Found out yesterday...

Alec we use THE VET at millbrook, excellent service 7 days a week and reasonable prices too
Amanda W. replied:
Another consideration, given where we live, might be whether or not the vet carries anti venom for adder bites. A number of Vets don’t routinely keep it. Forest Lodge do.
Kirstie I. replied:
Ooo, brilliant! You won't regret it! I've got a greyhound-whippet cross and she's just lovely! For the last 17 years, with various pets, I've been with Forest Lodge Vet Practice and can't fault them. See you at work.

Hi can anyone recommend the best vet's to castrate my colt. Thanks.
Sarah W. replied:
I have always been very pleased with Amy Reynolds from The Barn. She has a great attitude, there's no brawn, and she's excellent at the veterinary bit too.
Lynn P. replied:
Hi Elsa, I too have a colt that needs doing soon, if its an option, and helps at all, sometimes vets do it slightly cheaper if there is more than one to do. We are situated in bransgore, but equally ours boxes very well if it helps you, I have previously used Priory vets and they have been superb too. Let me know if it would interest you at all, doing a joint one?
