I'm after recommendations for a physio. I had some issues during pregnancy and now experiencing pain again in my hip, to the point that I cannot put weight on one leg....
Penny S. replied:
Caroline McCabe at Maureen Bailey & Associates. She is a physiotherapist who specialises in pregnancy and post natal issues like what you are describing. Located at Griffith shops. She might not be easy to get into but maybe get an urgent referral from your GP.

Cannot recommend Caroline McCabe highly enough. She saved me from crutches at 26 weeks due to SPD.

Andrew at Kingston Physio is my guy. He's very good

I had the same issue 1.5 years ago. I was seeing Emma at Northside Physio. It wasn't until I was given a resistance band to do exercises at home that I felt the best relief. I also had to take anti inflamatories for a month too, to really let the area relax and heal.

Remedial massage therapist Alan Ford in Kingston. I saw him with each of my pregnancies and have not had any issues. I have a hip replacement & thought carrying babies would be difficult. I saw him every 8 -10 weeks and it was money well spent. Let me know if you'd like his number. Good luck.
