Fiona, this is what I looked up on the Royal college of Podiatrists site: Understand the difference between a chiropodist and a podiatrist Chiropodists and podiatrists, deal with the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of the lower limb are qualified to treat people with arthritis, diabetes, nail surgery and sports injuries?. They work with people of all ages but play a particularly important role in helping older people to stay mobile and, therefore, independent. There is no difference between a chiropodist and a podiatrist. Podiatrist is the term used for chiropodists in other English speaking countries. If you need a chiropodist/ podiatrist use our "Find a chiropodist" service to locate the nearest one to you. All of the chiropodists/podiatrists in our directory are fully qualified and members of The Society of Chiropodists & Podiatrists.

Anyone know for sure of any shop or chemist that has a "pedi egg" foot file actually in stock? Internet shops postage is just too much.
Patty L. replied:
Pity. I had one in Italy and gave it away. I find the Scholl rotating battery ones much better. You can buy them with a smooth roll or a rough roll for harder skin. Most chemists sell them. I noticed Lidl had some similar on offer this week. If you prefer something smoothe, you can buy 'file a foot' from Body shop' on line. Those blades are dangerous !
