I've not been so don't know if the facilities are the same as a spa, but believe the Baños Arabes in Malaga are good... Michael do you have the link to that review? http://malaga.hammamalandalus.com/en/services/
Michael S. replied:
Here it is Fiona (although if you are looking for all sorts of different Spa Treatments it may not be for you Ruth. Be careful too as there is another Baños Arabe in Malaga that gets some pretty awful reviews. This is the review of the new one by my Co-Director, Laura : http://tapasinmalaga.wordpress.com/2013/12/14/a-journey-for-the-senses-malagas-new-arab-baths/

Sanlucar de Barrameda is not for from Cadiz. We stayed there a couple of nights and loved it. It’s on the coast, has dozens of restaurants and is on the edge of the National park. And you’ll be able to practice your Spanish. To get to Cadiz, drive to Puerta de Santa Marie and take the ferry. Hotel Barrameda is right in the centre of Sanlucar. Quite simple, but lovely

Thank you all very much for the suggestions.I´m going to save all the ideas for future trips when I have more time to research each place. For now Margaret Mcfadyen has sold me on Cadiz, so that is where I´ll be heading, thanks Margaret. Now to find somewhere to stay:)

It is a wonderful spa - close to the Baroness Thyssen gallery but you only get 1 1/2 hours there. There's a similar one close to Alhama de Granada called Los Ventorros which is at a hotel with excellent food. Easily found on Google.
Hi everyone, I am staying in Malaga for the week visiting a friend. We know about the spas/ Turkish baths but were wondering if anyone knows if there are any hotels with...
Michael S. replied:
No hotels that I know of with pools that allow guest passes (someon else might know of one). Málaga is served by few outdoor pools (we all go to one of the 11 beaches - plenty of sun beds to rent under the straw parasols at the chiringuitos. Best pool is Inacua, but not really for sunbathing : http://www.inacua.com/malaga/
Helen N. replied:
The health club Go Fit at Heulin Beach gives day passes for around eur10. Good pool, but indoors, so no sunbathing.
