Well, I can. But I am starting to look like Sloth from The Goonies. It ain't good. She said I could get in with a PA, but I told her I would call back.

If the PA can see you soon, I'd probably go ahead and go. I am partial to Dr. Cohen but the PAs are good, too. I've seen Dr. Jerles, who has been recommended, but he is Ear, Nose and Throat (and I saw him for those type issues). I think a dermatologist is who you should see for this, from what you've described. I'll still talk to him on the 3 rd if you can't get in with a PA by then.
