For those of you on preventatives, what do you take that works for you? I have an appt with a new neurologist soon. I keep hearing that taking Imitrex daily isn't good...
Scott J. replied:
It has worked for me as well as many others. http://www.myrainlife.com/takecontrol
Rachel W. replied:
Nortriptyline and Nadolol. The nadolol was helping but there were times in the winter where my hands and feet got so cold I think I had frostbite. So I cut back to 1 a day instead of 2. I haven't been taking the notriptyline for very long, about a month. I think it might be helping but not completely sure.
I need recommendations for an excellent neurologist. And, by the way, I do NOT recommend Dr. Todd Elmore!

I don't like Dr Elmore either. He seemed more interested in impressing his cutie intern than treating my neuropathy. Let me know if you find a good one

Best is Dr Chalub
