Well, it is time. I need the name of a good family doctor in Madison. I love Braylon and Taylor's pediatrician, but with us now in Madison…we just can't make it Hazel...
Christine A. replied:
Ashley burchfield. http://huntsvillehospital.org/madison/ I really liked her when I lived there
Maura W. replied:
http://www.ratemds.com/best-doctors/AL/Madison is a good site. From what I understand people either love him or....don't.
Stacy B. replied:
If you decide on a pediatrician, Huntsville Pediatric Assoc is great especially Dr.Patz but most are on that list on you friend's link above as highly rated--- love them all
Gwen C. replied:
I've been to Dr O'Neil (Patrick) before.
Maura W. replied:
Dr. Kolb isn't accepting new patients. Dr. O'Neill is very sarcastic. Ron and I were both going to him and he was always really snide and one day I put off going to him for a sinus infection and it developed in to tonsillitis. He walked in and said, "You here again?". I think he was trying to be funny but it hit me wrong. Ron likes him though. He's Catholic and a big Notre Dame fan so he and Ron talk football. He's for sure accepting new patients.Love Ashley Burchfield but uh that's not her picture.
Shannon M. replied:
Dr. Meadows at Pediatric Associates of Madison on Hughes
Rosie D. replied:
I used Horizons medical on Hiway 72. They are also a walk in clinic. So you can get in quickly if you are sick. I saw both Harrigan and Webster. They are both very nice. I do not recommend Scott Royster.
Kathryn K. replied:
Robbie Dudley at pediatric assoc of Madison - can't say enough good things about her! She is awesome!

Dr. Patrick O'Neil
Connie S. replied:
We use Deborah Kolb.
Ashley K. replied:
Our doctor is in Athens but she is wonderful and the staff is always on it. We have been very happy there the last 3 years. We had found some great doctors in Madison but their practice was a different story. It's Athens primary family care and we see Dr. Samantha Davidson. She's very well known even in Madison. The ER staff for Madison hospital knew exactly who she was and had nothing but great comments. When we don't want to go to Athens and need a quick drop in, American Family Care always has us in and out in under an hour. Honestly their office isn't too far from here. About a 15-20 minute drive.
Becky M. replied:
We saw Dr. Robbie Dudley with Maggie for something can't remember, but I do remember we liked her. She is a Peds' dr. however. My sister sees Dr. Rauls.
Hey Facebook moms. I would really appreciate any pediatrician recommendations in Madison/Huntsville area. Should have done this when i needed an ob/gyn. Thank you!

I need recommendations for a pediatrician to use once we get EJ home. Someone with knowledge and compassion for children with special needs and maybe even experience...
Lisa S. replied:
When are you going, Laura? I would love more details. How can I pray, what do you need, etc. I use Dr. Abston and Dr. Grostick at UAB on Governors. I love them both.
Mandy B. replied:
Our pediatrician has gone above and beyond so many times and I know he had no problems with accepting Everett with his sb and he has many other sb and even some ds kids. Not sure about the adoption knowledge part, but he does have 2 small kids of his own. He always speaks to the child first when he enters the room and always takes their feelings and thoughts in to consideration. With special needs you always need a million doctor notes or doctor references for something! I just call him and explain what it is and he writes it no problem. He tried to keep unnecessary office visits to a minimum. We love him! It's Dr. Ellis with Huntsville Pediatric Associates.
Deana A. replied:
Cornerstone peds Dr Johnson has adopted
Taylor D. replied:
Lisa Snyder knows somebody

Sandi S. replied:
I LOVE Dr. Stewart at Huntsville Pediatrics! Have seen Dr. Ellis too, and have a friend who LOVES him as well!
Jenny E. replied:
We use Dr. Johnson at Cornerstone Pediatrics here in Madison. He has adopted and has been so good to Samuel. Dr Brassert at Cornerstone is good too. (We loved Dr Cartwright but he recently left!:() We also go to the Vanderbilt Down Syndrome clinic once a year for "overall health and growth" for more in depth look. I highly recommend them!
Jenny S. replied:
I love Dr. Stewart at Huntsville Pediatrics! He's able to connect and play with kids of all ages to make them feel comfortable! I've heard awesome things about the other doctors there as well, but haven't really seen them. That's another thing I like about Huntsville pediatrics.... You almost always get to see your doctor!
Jennifer B. replied:
Jeff Brassart at Cornerstone sees all 10 Bryan grandchildren and been great w/ Jake's issues.
Mandy B. replied:
I agree with Jenny and highly recommend Vanderbilt's Down Syndrome Clinic. We use the Spina Bifida Clinic there
