Countryside Veterinary Hospital 1 (256) 859-2221 5267 Old Railroad Bed Road, Toney, AL 35773 http://m.google.com/u/m/BZLuzD Used them now for years. Inexpensive boarding, inexpensive services and top notch staff.

http://www.berryanimalhospital.com/ It's a bit of a drive, but they are always really nice, can board, and I have been taking various animals there for years. Even after moving to huntsville from toney, I still make the drive. They also have some cool "shop cats" that hang around and are all animal friendly.

[paradise pet resort](http://paradisepetresort.biz/) I will be boarding my two Bassets shortly and have used them for wash/nails/ears services several times. Only once did I have a problem (nails not trimmed short enough on a Basset hound) and they remedied that with a free bath/wash/nails the next day. They offer 4 types of boarding: 1: cat condo 2: dog villa suites (indoor suite, web cam access, 4 outside potty breaks with staff) 3: dog pentouse suites (indoor suite, 4 outside potty breaks with staff) 4: dog cabana suites (indoor suite, 2 outside play times with staff)

I've used many times [Jenny's Pets](http://jennyspets.com/) for my Mom's dog before. Always had really great results! Plus, Jenny and her staff are really nice :) The rates really are affordable too (if you have multiple pets.) She does $20 per visit to a home. So if you have multiple pets, that's worth it. Its not a place to board your pet, but I still highly recommend.
Veterinarian recommendations in Madison West/Middleton Area I am potentially adopting a kitten that isn't spayed or neutered, and if I get this animal I want to take it...
SamuraiJackd replied:
Spay me is a great low cost clinic, they are quick and effective and make money on column not high prices. They also help shelters so your money supports a good cause.

All Pets has been fantastic with my somewhat human shy dog. They are on Gammon road. Dr. Natalie Schweitzer is my vet but when she hasn't been around the others working have all been wonderful also. And yes, that's not cat specific but their overall demeanor is wonderful. Edit: I actually got the recommendation from Reddit myself 3+ years ago when I got my dog.

Sauk Point Vet off of Old Sauk has a "kitten package" that includes the exams, spay/neuter, shots, and the option to microchip.

I've been taking my cats to Pineview Veterinary Clinc (southwest side of Waunakee) for 20 years now, and Dr. Meffert and her team of vets are excellent. Super friendly and genuinely care about your pets:)

Fitchburg Vet is quite good. Dr. Kelsey Gleason, specifically, has been great. I also have some experience with specialists at UW Veterinary Hospital. Great team there as well.

Janssen Clinic for Animals in Middleton. The staff is friendly and helpful and Dr. Janssen always does an amazing job. My favorite vet clinic by far. http://janssenclinic.com/

Companion Animal Hospital on Gammon is where we take both of our cats and our dog - they are always lovely to deal with. http://www.catdoc.biz/

Animal Hospital of Verona (?) I forget their exact name, I know someone who was happy with a major surgery (+$1000) their cat had there.

My family been going to Dr. John Gustafson (Dr. Gus) for over 30 years. He owns his own clinic, Muir Field Pet Clinic, out past the Super Target on PD. We (parents, brother, sister, myself) all take our pets to him, and I recommend him to anyone. He's great.
Looking for a Vet in the Madison area. Anyone have a referral?

I like Trusty Vet on 72. Inexpensive and friendly.

Animal Healthcare Center on county line rd.

Dr. Racelis@Best friends off Hughes is good. We also like Dr Lawrence at the Pet Hospital off Countyline (who we take our cat to). We take our dog to Dr. Parker at Animal Tracks in Decatur (she's an old friend of mine and super sweet), but it's a little drive.
I gotta take the dogs to the vet -.- does anybody know about the vet in east? Madison has just gotten too expensive
Danika B. replied:
Dr Galbraith is the one that saved Todd's life. And almost saved Gingers. He's AMAZING. BUT I know you and you will not drive that far go to east!! She used to be Kamots' vet way back in the day. Krissie took her puppy there 2 wks ago and really liked them there. They were also really caring about what happened to Ginger even though we do not go to that vet. Reasonably price from what I've been told. But then again pretty much anywhere will be cheaper than where you go. All of my brothers animals go to East as well.

Dr. Bill Renfroe

We use Dr Berry in Ardmore. He is by far the most affordable, it's worth the drive from Huntsville!

Fayetteville Animal Clinic, its cheap compared to most vets in Huntsville and Madison.
I have a friend who's cat was acting a little off this morning after using the litter box and she is worried about a blockage. She is from hazel green but now lives in...

I go to Madison Veterinary Hospital, but I can't say they are on the cheaper end. There is a place called Affordable Vet or something like that on Hwy 72/Univ not far from Madison. Across the street from the new car dealership going in. I know nothing about them though.
