check out low cost spay in indiana on line. I got a voucher through the state for my dog (they do cats also) that only cost me 20. You have to use it at a clinic that takes vouchers. Closest one to Madison is St. Clair's Veterinary Clinic in Scottsburg

The only downfall with North Madison Vet Clinic is the delay for an appointment. I just called today to schedule an already late visit and the earliest appointment was was the 3 rd week of May. If you need your animal taken care of before then you might want to check out tractor supply. They have vets on staff once a month and it's a first come first serve basis. Basics, worming, shots, etc are all done there and they charge little to nothing. If you need something like spay or neutering there's also the women's prison transport that takes the animal to Bloomington to a vet there and they charge very little for spay and neuter services, it's like $75 if I remember correctly.

East Side Vet Clinic in Jeffersonville. They tried to revive our puppy after he was hit by a car. It was too late by the time we got there but they didn't charge us anything and were some of the nicest people I have ever met.

The killed my healthy 2 year old chihuahua but over anesthesia getting her teeth cleaned. She died with them standing right with her. It happened last August and I'm still crying over my sweet pup

Downtown, at Madison Pet Clinic they can give the 3 year Rabies vaccine and the 3 year DHPP vaccine. They do recommend you get the Leptospirosis and the Bordetella vaccine yearly although they do not require it. Legally you must give the Rabies vaccine every 3 years, so if you do not and your dog is accused of biting someone, you could be fined.
