Massage therapist recs? Anyone have recommendations for a good massage therapist? I have GHC insurance, and they have a ton of options so I'm having trouble deciding....
jhllne replied:
Not sure about whether he's in-network for GHC (we have Quartz and pay out of pocket), but my wife sees Scott at Bodyworks Madison (https://www.integrationbodywork.net/) and recommends him.
holdtheolives replied:
Can’t recommend anyone specific, but the massages and environment at Kneaded Relief in Fitchburg have always been top-notch. Highly recommend.
evangelinens replied:
Mary Karls and Jessica Boggs at GHC are both very good.
curlgrrl replied:
I have had excellent results with the folks at Body Harmony over by the airport, specifically Jennifer.

Amanda Parker is amazing! She's got a background with a mix of both sports and therapeutic massage, so while I can't say I've had IT band problems personally, I would be confident that she'd know how to help you out. https://www.amandaparkermassage.com/
cibman replied:
If you have a serious issue, I strongly recommend Brian at All Joint Care. Link [here](http://www.alljointcare.com/). Tell him Cibman sent you, and he'll give you a deal to try him out (I'm not kidding!) I've been seeing him for years now, with some serious issues that he's really helped me with.

Heather at Resolution Therapeutic Massage! Especially if you like deep tissue - she’s AMAZING!

I've been seeing a woman named Carolyn (http://www.carolynmorrisonphillips.com/) for almost 9 years. She's amazing. She charges $60/hour, but she refuses tips. She always says she'd rather someone came back than accept a tip. She's helped a ton with my chronic headaches and migraines.
missannthr0pe replied:
You can get free massages at GHC - you might find one you like when you try out a freebie.
Schmapdi replied:
Am not super experienced at getting massages for any purpose other than relaxation - but I find El Sol (on Atwood) to be a good place with very reasonable rates. I went to Kirsten (I think) last time I went, she did a very good (albeit somewhat painful) deep tissue massage.
Hey everyone -- had a quick question. Does anyone have a good sports doc they would recommend? I've been dealing with a lot of pain on the outside of my knee for the...
Lynda B. replied:
Brian, try Atlantic Sports Health at 111 Madison Ave in Morristown. They're the docs for the NY Jets. I've been there for my back and I'd recommend them.
Gene N. replied:
Tri-County Orthopedic Sports Medicine on Hanover Avenue. They’re the best.
DeDe P. replied:
I adore Dr. Gregory Mulford in Morristown. And so does everyone who has seen him after I recommended him. It's been easy for me to get an apt. within a few days, and he spend so much time with the patient. They accept a lot of insurances, too. He's at 95 Mount Kemble Ave Ste T4 (973) 267-2293 Good luck!
John D. replied:
Hi. I recommend Janice Morra at DMC Rehabilitation on South street in Morristown. She's a runner herself and very knowledgeable about running related injuries.
Michael L. replied:
I have not been to Dr. Mulford but have heard good things about him.
Gaye M. replied:
Dr Schindle, Summit Medical Sports Medecine, in Morristown. I got cortisone and Uflexa injections, quick, painless and Im running again.

Prairie Athletic Club in Sun Prairie has a lap pool. I believe it has 4-5 lanes. Sometimes they do classes that interfere so you’ll have to check the schedule before your swim.
batmomandrobbins replied:
Pinnacle in Fitchburg has a really nice pool.
badgers26 replied:
Princeton Club on the West side has a pool that is almost always available. There are a few classes each week and a few hours on the weekend blocked for family swim, but otherwise set up for lap swim. There is also a current pool that might be nice to help with rehab. Not sure how price compares to other options.
HerelnDuckburg replied:
The YMCA on the east side has a pool, on cottage Grove road.
tasunder replied:
Princeton club, supreme, pinnacle all have pools. Supreme’s is very small (3 lanes) but usually available after rush hour times. They also are probably the best value. The other two have bigger pools. There’s also the sun prairie option. You could also look at [lap times via MSCR](https://www.mscr.org/our-programs/aquatics/open-swims) That all said, I found swimming was exacerbating my ITBS when I tried to get into it a couple of years ago during a bad bout of ITBS. Might want to do a week trial at any gym you consider.
ABErealestate replied:
Pinnacle in fitchburg is solid, and I qualified for some "young professional" promo (not sure how old you are) so it was about 40 a month if i remember correctly.
Kjriley replied:
Harbor Athletic has three indoor and one outdoor pool. 24 hours.
HerelnDuckburg replied:
There's also the natatorium close to campus. If you're a student or an alumni I think you might get a small discount
I have a pic I'm posting now: from LAST YEAR'S JAM FOR CANS
If ANYONE can tell me the name of this band: please!? Need it to label the pic for Historian's Book.
