Good caterers in Madison? I'm looking at caterers for a work spring picnic ~100 people. Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations...or bad experiences!

Picnic Style? [Smoky Jon's](http://www.smokyjons.com/catering) would be delicious. We had to feed about 40 people, got the meat and ribs from Smoky Jon's and made sides ourselves. Soooo good.

JL Richards out of Oregon has great food for a reasonable price. They also do a great job of working with you for your event. I've had two friends use them for their wedding and I just booked them for mine this fall.

Firehouse Subs is pretty good and does catering. They deliver, as well. You can get hot subs, cold subs, salads, snack platters with brownies or cookies.

Panera is generic but fantastic for office stuff. Reliable, easy to order, wide variety, and always within whatever budget I'm given. They can also do a craft service type variety with one button push, just type in the number of people and they bring everything
mermaiddayjob replied:
Kind of a more generic option, but Panera is one of the go-tos in my office. They have the box lunch option too. Whole Foods has also accommodated groups of varying sizes for us.
