Hello everyone. Was curious if anyone had any knowledge of camp grounds in or around the Los Angela's area? Need a spot for probably a week with hookups preferably....

Think about joining the Elks someday. They have lots of places to stay in LA. Otherwise, the only places I've stayed are at Golden Shores in Long Beach, pricey but nice, and Rancho Jurupa Regional Park, which is in Riverside. It was ok, but they really needed to work on the goathead situation. Thorny stickers all around are NOT fun.

North of LA, there is camping, too. Malibu RV Resort is really expensive, but with an unbeliably beautiful view of the Pacific. if you don't need to be on the beach and don't mind driving into the mountains a little, there is Malibu Creek SP, which is where they made M.A.S.H.! Further out PCH, there is Leo Carillo SP, where the campground is across the street from the beach. There are campgrounds in the Santa Monica National Recreation Area, further north, near Oxnard. In Ventura County, there are State Parks and county campgrounds. There are also commercial campgrounds in the SF Valley, and there are campgrounds in the National Forests north of LA.
