If SNP LA ends up not working out, I can personally vouch for Dr. Jones in Santa Monica (who does all the spay/neuter for the SM shelter), and Dr. Davidson at Valuevet Westwood for low prices and good work. I can also recommend a few other doctors who are great, but more expensive.

YES! Dr Tang in Glendale. Trust me. A friend referred me. I've made the drive from Van Nuys for 7 or so years. He is no bullshit, reasonably priced and wonderful with animals.

There is a credit card out there called Care Credit and used only for Vets and Doctors, you can't make any other purchases on it, good for emergencies. Check into it. I use it for all my dogs.
