I haven’t been there in a couple years but North Figueroa Animal Hospital is really affordable. You have to be prepared to wait if you go in, they don’t take appointments (at least per-Covid). Worth calling though to see what their system is now. Not free but the most affordable vet I found in LA.

Depending on your sistuation you can also try CareCredit or Scratchpay. They can give you a line of credit for vet offices on the spot and then set you up cor for payments
