Marwa A. replied:
Dogs need order and the owner to be assertive. Without it it feels unstable and chaotic and there is no system to feel safe with. It could also be that after her injury uve become less strict too about good and bad behaviours because u feel sad for her. She will continue to feel confused about who is in charge and how to make her environment safe until the pack leader (you) shows her you are there to make sure things are safe. Be stern. Don't allow bad habits to become more pronounced such as charging at people. Reward good behaviours. I think Sarah Clarke has some good tips too but not sure if shes available to reply here..

That is the difference between psychiatrists and psychologists. The trouble is I don't know of any psychologists that do Arabic or charge a reasonable rate. The ones I know are 40 ish an hour. I do know one that likes structured sessions, as in only a certain number of them.. Not going on till the end of time. Anyway, you could google her and see what you think. Very qualified, with real degrees and not those two day course things http://www.resolvetherapy.co.uk/
