I delivered all three of my kids at BDF hospital. All 3 times I coincidentally had the same midwife. An amazing Bahraini lady called Hayat & she was wonderful during all three of my deliveries which were all very different. Dr Moza was my Dr. & she is amazing. My first daughter was induced & I also had an epidural - the Dr who gave it to me was fantastic. My second daughter arrived a little early & I had a very very speedy delivery. My midwife Hayat was very cool and collected - I was terrified at the prospect of delivering without an epidural as there was no time for one & she was a godsend. Dr Khalida delivered my baby as Dr Moza was away at the time but she called ahead and had arranged for my arrival at the hospital. My 3rd child was a whole other experience. I had a pregnancy complication which Dr Moza diagnosed & I needed to have surgery in my 12th week of pregnancy. She was very supportive & got me through to the end of my pregnancy where I was able to have my son at 38 weeks. The hospital is very well equipped to deal with emergencies and/or pregnancy complications. Dr Moza is exceptionally experienced. The largest downside is the wait times to see the Dr are very long but that aside I had a very good experience overall.
