Lots of activities for kids from sports to dance. My daughter was 7 when we moved here ( she's 20 now) and was very involved with dance as well as some sports. There are dedicated yoga studios depending on where you live As mentioned in another post, availability of buses depends on the school but if you live close to the school it wouldn't an issue If you need assistance with finding housing please feel free to pm me or email me at Francine.williamson@cluttons.com and I'd be happy to discuss areas and help with your search. You'll love bahrain. It's a wonderful place!

Sherine S. replied:
We just moved here from Dubai as well. Both schools are very good but theres a lon waiting list so you have to apply early and keep your fingers crossed. There's also Nadine school which I hear is pretty good. The move here is not an easy one especially if you are adjusted to the Dubai lifestyle. There's a lot less going on here, but it's more laid back and way less crowded. The best thing of all for me is being able to go to City Centre mall, park right infant of the door and not have to worry about being late for pick up times. The island is tiny so you can get a lot of errands done before pick up. If your husband will be working in Saudi, Hamala is a good option for a place to stay, has some great compounds. There's also Jasra, Janabiya. I personally live in Saar which has a good vibe and everything is within easy reach, like the grocery shops, clinics, schools etc. I found out about a lot of things in Bahrain through word of mouth because not everything is advertised but it doesn't take long. Let me know if this helps and if you need any more info.
