Gina J. replied:
Sweet Gene Fisher whats the name I'll go any where if they are good!!
Carey C. replied:
I know a good one but he is out in the Landsdowne area...Dr. Andrew Silva. Both my kiddos went there and we know him well.
Jennifer L. replied:
Dr Lim in Gainesville is awesome. He was referred to me. He was fantastic with my friends son who inhaled a piece of Pistachio. He was the only one to listen, scoped him and ended up having to surgically remove it. I went to see him after suffering from Vertigo for 16 months. I had been treated by a few others unsuccessfully. One visit with him and tada...I was Vertigo free and have been for 13 months now.
ISO a pediatrician for my 1 year old. New to Virginia. Manassas Pediatric s, Olde Town Peds, and Chidren's Healthcare Center have been some listed by our insurance....
Melissa M. replied:
I love Manassas Peds!! I've used them for both of my girls and they've always been real accommodating for sick appts, weekend needs, etc.
Tammy B. replied:
Dr. Anastasia Williams. Highly, highly recommended.
Meghan M. replied:
My kids go to Old Towne, have since birth. I absolutely love Dr. Williams and her staff.
Andrea H. replied:
We take our kids 2 1/2 and 9 months to Fairfax Pediatric Associates and we're very happy with them. Their office in Centreville is on 28 and is very close to Manassas/ Manassas Park.
Jennay R. replied:
Please stay away from Crestwood Pediatrics. The first three years my son went there they lost his file which I had to fill out repeatedly. Then he was allergic to Pork the first three years of his life and they treated him for a sinus infection for 3 years which almost killed my kid.
Jessica V. replied:
Olde town pediatrics in manassas. Dr Williams is amazing! Top doc of Washington. I will never ever take my kids anywhere else.
Jessica D. replied:
Children's Health Care Center; Dr McEachern He was my doctor from the age 4-16 and now he's my sons pediatrician. He's a very blunt & straight to the point Doctor, but the best dr with kids I've ever seen & they all love him.
Katy M. replied:
We have been going to Dr. Williams since our 11 yr old was 9 mos old. Started at Pine Grove Peds and was not happy there (long waits and condescending docs, plus paperwork screw ups). We have been very happy with Dr Williams!
Any local peeps who can recommend a good general doctor for Eric? He wants to find a new general physician, male or female does not matter.
Jennifer W. replied:
Love love love Dr. Heston at Manassas Family Medicine.
Jessica L. replied:
He must start seeing my doc. You know the depths of my love for him. Rena Golesorkhi.
Brenda O. replied:
I see Elizabeth Buchinsky at Manassas Family Medicine. Steve sees Dr. Omojokun, the only one there I would not see would be Vincent Buchinsky. Bad bedside manner.
Tisa N. replied:
I of course 2 nd recommendation! Dr. G is awesome!!!
Tarannum L. replied:
Cardinal Internal Medicine- they truly are among the BEST !
Any friends in the Manassas area have experience with any "quick clinics"? Recommendations/how it works etc. Johnny's ear is killing him and its after doctor time.
Andrea B. replied:
NextCare on Hoadly next to Frostie Moose is awesome and you can sign in online and they'll tell you whe to come in so you don't have to wait! I also like Patient First on Liberia. They will even fill your prescription!
Libby R. replied:
Minute Clinic at CVS on Hoadley Road...
Audra M. replied:
Thanks everyone, we were at the Noodles & Company while he was "dying" so we went to the Patient First on Libera. Ear infection, so hopefully he'll be feeling better after a couple of days of antibiotics, which we got there. Pretty convenient.
Virginia Hospital Center - My mom lives in Alabama and has been going to the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL where they found that she has cancer. Surgery did not get it...
Marlene E. replied:
I can vouch for VA hospital center... My mom spent a few weeks there and the staff is amazing they are very compassionate. The cancer center is great. Unfortunately they couldn't do much for my mom as her cancer was well advanced when we found it. One downfall is the parking. But other than that I totally recommend them. Hope this helps!
Lisa D. replied:
I can vouch for VA hospital center. My father had internal bleeding and the surrounding hospitals could not find the cause. The first day at VA hospital, his dr found the cause. My mother's appendix burst and her DR was able to remove and flush out her abdomen. My husbands grandmother also had surgery there and it went smoothly. I will be delivering my first child soon. Cancer related - I / my family have no experiences revolving that disease:-(
Katricia A. replied:
Inova Hospitals. There are five hospital facilities w/ a vast of specialties and convenient locations. In the end, the decision should bw based on your research. Everyone will have different experiences. Pray on it, let your Faith guide you in the right direction.
