ISO: dentist in Manhattan who takes payments I currently have no insurance and in desperate need to have my wisdom teeth pulled I can not bear the pain anymore any help...
Melissa J. replied:
Community Health Ministry in Wamego. Call 785-456-7872 on Monday mornings starting at 10 am. They have a $40 MAX copay for those without insurance.
Charity S. replied:
Mercy hospital also has a plan for low income to get assistance in paying all or part of your ER bills. I've used it in the past, so depending on the level of care you need, that may be a better option than paying Kstat, and having them send you to Mercy. Be well!
Anna C. replied:
I use Randy Davis dentistry in Manhattan and he takes payment!
Wendie R. replied:
I work for Randy Davis Dentistry. We are very conservative and won't diagnose things that are not needed. Our office also takes payments. Call (785) 539-0804. We can typically get you in the same day you call.
Becca F. replied:
Don't go to Dr. Wisdom... I had 3 of my wisdom teeth pulled several years ago and they wouldn't put me under for it. It was horrible. I go to Family and Implant Dentistry and I love them... but I don't know about the payment thing.
Deb N. replied:
Go to the Riley County Health Department. They have a dental clinic staffed by a dentist from Konza Community Health.
Bridget M. replied:
My husband had his pulled at Konza Oral on College Ave. They accept CareCredit which is a medical credit card that gives you the ability to make monthly payments no interest. (Term depends on the total amount of surgery). You can apply there or apply online first I believe. For us his surgery was 1500 before insurance, so roughly 125 a month. Only drawback is, there are like 4 places in manhattan that accept it, but it was great for major dental!
Wendie R. replied:
Family and Implant dentistry will nickel and dime you to death. They're so money hungry they also don't allow payments. If you want what's best for you in a budget friendly office Randy Davis Dentistry will treat you right.
Wendie R. replied:
I agree... Do not go to Dr. Wisdom!!
Nancy V. replied:
Dr. Wisdom
Becca F. replied:
I've had a completely different experience than that at Family and Implant Dentistry and my friends that have gone there love it too.
Amy B. replied:
Konza dental it's in the same building as health dept also have office in JC I have no insurance and have had teeth pulled there it's based on income
Heather H. replied:
Don't do Family Implant Dentistry..before you get a tooth pulled you have to pay for it all before it's done. I heard Randy Davis is really good and does do payment plans.

Randy Davis
Brandy A. replied:
I see Dr. Tara Poole she is awesome
Sarah B. replied:
Dr. Woodard. He is hands down my favorite. Two least favorite: Dr. Swan and Family Implant and Dentistry. Swan is just not friendly. Family implant will tell you that you need all kinds of things done that a second option will then tell you is unnecessary.
Kathy J. replied:
Don't know who you are Sarah Beebe but you are very smart and right on!!!
Barbara M. replied:

If you want someone who is willing to work with payments don't go to Wisdom, someone I know had funds drained from her bank account due to them. Downtown Dental is fabulous, work with every budget and Dr Poulson is phenomenal. Plus they always have openings, and you never leave questioning how much you have to pay or will have to.

Jennifer D. replied:
When I was in Manhattan I went to Dr. Carlson ...best dentist EVER! Ask for Raven as your hygienist. When I moved away I continued to go to him for a bit...but then I couldn't justify missing a full day of work just for the dentist...so now I am settling for a guy in Emporia...he is not nearly as thorough as Dr. Carlson...or as pleasant.
Can Any one recommend a good dentist and or oral Surgeon in Brooklyn, queens or Manhattan? ?!!
I'd prefer them both from the same practice.
Hit me with an inbox!!
Adrian W. replied:
Dr Santa in queens would probably be the cheapest Dr ptak in Brooklyn is a surgeon and can put you under. He's probably you're best bet If you're really trying to ball out I'd go to either Dr beldengreen or dr brown in Manhattan but those are gonna cost ya the big bucks
Adrian W. replied:
If you're getting implants def go for ptak but if it's just crowns Dr Santa gotchu for cheap
