Do you have insurance? If so, I would just go to your provider for a recommendation. If not, the University of Minnesota campus in Minneapolis has a Dentistry School where you can go in as a patient for cheap.

I liked Dr. Florine. I got all 4 wisdom teeth removed on the same day at 27 yrs old (Pretty late to be getting them removed) and experienced very little discomfort and zero post op complications. I am normally very picky about dental work and I was very pleased with the care I received. http://www.oralsurgerycare.com/ Edit: On the subject of dentists I had a really bad experience with Dr. Taple at Northwood Dental in Eagan, it was obvious to me that money was his motivation and that providing quality care came second, that said my best friend goes to Northwood to see Dr. Thomas and he is very pleased with his services.

Dr Ballin for sure. Recently had my 4 wisdom teeth removed there and previously had 3 other impacted teeth removed by him. As well as all my family members having theirs done by him. He's good and gives you all sorts of stuff so you heal quick and don't have dry sockets. He's over by Nicollet and 62 in Minneapolis.

Dr Kurt Witte in Dinkytown is an *amazing* dentist. I've seen him since before I can remember. Unfortunately, he's not a surgeon, and I can't remember the name of the guy who took my wisdom teeth out - only saw him the once.

My current dentist: Dr. Robert L. Laing, DDS .. [Dentistry for the entire family](http://www.cretzmeyer.com/) ... really good group of people there. Not sure where they told me to go for oral surgery (haven't gone yet! haha!) but I'm sure it was: [this place](http://www.omsspecialists.com/). Good luck!

I got a root canal at Metropolitan Endodontics in Inver Grove Heights off of 52. Nothing gets me going more than the dentist and I was scared to death going in. Clean office, modern facilities, and a great doctor. Didn't feel a thing, would go back again. If I had to.
