Asking for a friend, are there any good local midwife clinics? Pitt Meadows, Maple Ridge, Mission?

You need to book fast as they all fill! Your options for maple ridge are transitions, greenway midwifery and Nicole Seguin from Harmony. I’m a local doula. Feel free to message me if you have any questions. Also there is a pregnancy group called Birthy Conversations in Ridge Meadows. Feel free to join. And congratulations.

Thanks for the tags Alena & Susan ❤️ Lindsay, I’m a doula who attends births all over the Lower Mainland. There are a couple of the Transitions midwives are not my favourite to work with. I like Mission Midwifery for births at Abbotsford hospital or Nicole from Harmony if you want to birth at Ridge Meadows. I also really like Grace & Kathleenhttps://www.facebook.com/238877683177037 from Greenway Midwifery in Poco. They will deliver at Royal Columbian. Let me know if you have any more questions
Does anyone know of a female doctor in maple ridge who is taking on new patients? I'm quite desperate as I have a 17 month old and have things I need to follow up on and...
Ashley P. replied:
There is a new female doctor at Pitt Meadows Clinic. I see Dr Latti, I don't think she is taking new patients, but about a month ago went to the walk in clinic there and was pleasantly surprised with the female walk in doctor.

Not sure if she's accepting - but Dr Tehmina Wasti is amazing. She and her husband's office is in the same building as Cottonwood medical walk in clinic at 238B/Dewdney.
Leanne S. replied:
Do you currently have a male doctor? Or not have one at all? Reason I ask, I called golden ears clinic where I have a male Dr but they were able to get me an apt with one of the female Dr. In the office.
Does anyone know if there are any walk in clinics open in the area today? I've called a bunch of them already and all I keep getting is their answering service.
Paddy K. replied:
Depending on the issue, you can call 811 and speak with a Registered Nurse for advice, you can go on Medimap.ca to search for clinics, you can also go to eqvirtual.com and see a doctor online using your webcam (it is covered by your care card)
Hi everyone. I'm in a bind and hoping someone can help me out. My Dad is 92, but generally in excellent health and mostly independent. However, he's had a bad episode of...

Lisa Kern - sheesh, I wish it had been so easy for us. Nobody was willing to budge and Dad hasn't had a family doctor for years. (Can you imagine being in such good health at 92 that you haven't seen a doctor for *years*???) Anyway, thanks to a kind Hammond Neighbour we got through the week-end. Dad's mobility is much improved so we're in the clear. Hammond Neighbours is the best.:)
Hey everyone, are there any other walk in clinics in maple ridge aside from cottonwood? The one by frog stone is now permanently closed(news to me). I am aware of the...
