Welcome, Mindy I'm a retired critical care nurse and nurseing instructor. I've lived here for 30 yrs. I did suggest Dr Katuna Stepkovitch (if ave is takeing new patients) She is right in the village on Orange St. Ave is extreamly knowlegable and approachable. However I believe her practice is limited to adults.

I'm also looking for a new doctor for myself... I would never recommend Dr. Alley. We brought our twins there when they were first born and it was a horrible experience. His office staff was great, but when I question the need for things I want to be met with research not scare tactics and stories to sway you to their side. When an infant is moaning in pain from reflux and projectile spitting up every time they eat it is horrible to leave that child in pain for months and tell that parent to "hold the baby upright for 30 minutes to 1hr after every feed" (feeding every 3hrs) when there is medicine that can help with it. This may have been a reasonable request (had she not been moaning in pain) and if I didn't have twins....kind of hard to tend to and feed the other when you have to hold one upright for an hour. Brighton Hill gave her reflux meds on their very first appointment which alleviated the pain and the majority of the spitting up...
Tina C. replied:
Dr Alley does it all, staff is great .. There are no grumps in that office
I am in search of a new OB doctor to deliver for me, I'm just not super happy or comfortable where I am. Any suggestion for recommendations?!

Loftus Ryu Bartol. All are excellent
Allison H. replied:
Dr. Ryu pronounced, You. The whole practice is amazing. They are in the Madison-Irving Building on either Irving Street or Crouse Ave. Dr. Loftus did my C-Section because I went into labor before my scheduled C-Section. Dr. Loftus may be retired by now. But, I saw Dr. Ryu through my pregnancy. The whole practice is amazing though. And, they deliver st Crouse which is an amazing place to deliver also

Dr Jennifer Marziale at Advanced OBGYN is wonderful!
Dr. Berry and Associates. delivered 3 of my 4. (All premature btw) and did so amazingly! I had a horrible go with my pregnancies, and they did everything humanly possible to help my babies make it as close to full term and to help me threw it however they could. Dr. Lopez is absolutely a God sent, hands down the best doctors I could have asked for threw very complicated pregnancies.
Shannon M. replied:
Dr Ryu
Katrina G. replied:
Dr Ryu is amazing but is no longer delivering.
Amy C. replied:

I went to https://www.facebook.com/1812154892389099 Cathy J. Berry and Associates - I loved every physician there. Not sure if it's your first or not, but the nurses at the hospital are, in my opinion, more important than the OB since they really just show up, deliver, and leave haha! :) I loved every nurse at Crouse!
Anne M. replied:
Emma Flint, I apologize because I didn't briefly elaborate on why I like Dr Marziale. I had a relatively low risk and healthy pregnancy. I was 'overdue' and there was never any rush to induce. I labored exactly as I wanted to and was allowed to freely express my concerns while feeling like I was being heard and listened to. Figured I'd elaborate if that helped
Kara R. replied:
Cny women's health. Dr. Brown! High risk pregnancies; with myself being at greater risk than my babies. They are the best. ❤️ Thankfully because of the thorough care I received throughout, I was still able to have my babies naturally.
