Duncan E. replied:
Hi Vicki Preston, I'm afraid Dr Pesiridou no longer works on the island (she moved to Athens). Cheers anyway!
Vicki P. replied:
Thanks for letting me know, Duncan. I've updated the list to remove Dr Pesiridou. In my experience of bronchitis, antibiotics should start kicking in within a day or two and you'll quickly start to feel better. For future reference, I've gone to Dr Tzanidis at the public heath centre in the past when I've had bronchitis and been very happy with his care - he's always been extremely thorough and helpful. Perastika ("get well soon").
The last RD I knew of was Roger who ran Tower Communications in Haddenham, but I think that's long shut. Roger's retired as far as I know. Hope you can get fixed.

In the warmer months they will be opening their outdoor waiting room, where kids can stay active while they wait for their appointment!!
Mari G. replied:
We've used Kids' Choice Ped. They listen to the child and the parent. They are very honest and upfront. They have extended hours and designated same day sick blocks. Their office staff is amazing, and they were one of only a handful of doctors who accepted TriCare at the time of our move a few years ago.

I never had a C section, but had awesome experience with Dr. Vrbicky!!
Amy J. replied:
Dr. Wuld in Columbus is amazing!!
Julie B. replied:
I had Dr Davis and had to have a c section due to complications. He was honest and straight forward. My husband and I were scared and he reassured us everything would be fine and introduced everyone as they came rushing in the room to get ready for the csection. Davis was awesome and kept a very close on me throughout my labor and at the first sign of any problems he told us what was happening with my baby.
Kim H. replied:
Dr Jim Albin is amazing
Jeanie S. replied:
Dr Vrbicky! He put all my fears to rest & I had virtually no scar and it was a fairly simple recovery. And a good friend of mine was high risk with twins & wound up emergency c section & Vrbicky delivered one more c-section after that for her too. No complaints from either of us.
HollieandTravis C. replied:
Dr. Mark Davis did both of my c-sections and he was wonderful. I wouldn't go to anyone else!
Kristy R. replied:
Dr Vrbicky has followed me as very high risk for my last two babies. He did my c-section with my last child who is now 4 months old. He is a very good doctor and keeps a very close eye on things.
Amanda W. replied:
Dr. Davis did my first(had an emergency c-section), I had staples after for close to a week. Long recovery time. With my second I had vribicky and no staples, very fast recovery time. Both are good though.
Laurie S. replied:
I have to agree with Dr Vrbicky being an excellent dr. He is truly concerned about each patient and listens to their concerns. I wouldn't trust anyone else!
Jennifer S. replied:
I had my c section with Dr Davis. I had no complications and healed great!
Suzanne R. replied:
Dr Vrbicky saved my life. He ended up not doing my c-section as he sent me to Omaha, but I am thankful for the care he provided. When I needed to go to Omaha he called me personally, not one of his nurses

ILFA is pleased to announce that an educational article on Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis written by Nicola Cassidy...
Miriam S. replied:
Thank you so much for posting this. I have been diagnosed over one year now and had to attend my Dr a lot in the past few months. One of my appointments I went to the head Dr in the practice and asked him since I was diagnosed had the Dr's in the pra ctice made themselves familiar with my disease and unfortunately his answer had been no. I have emailed him just now with this update and have asked him if he and the other Dr's in the practice would read the article. Is there any chance on the wording of the article being posted here? When I was at the meeting in January in Dublin I asked about the lack of leaflets in my Dr Surgery and was told it was down to funding, During the week on one of the many nights I could not sleep I thought of the idea of getting mail addresses for as many Dr Surgeries in the Country as possible and mailing them information about Pulmonary Fibrosis which they could print out and post on the wall in their surgeries outlining the flags to be aware of and also mentioning that it might be worth their while having an oxymiter in their practice to check oxygen levels. Only an idea at the moment but one I would be interested in chatting with you about maybe at the next meeting. Keep up the great work about spreading awareness of his horrible horrible disease smile emoticon
