Personally I've enjoyed foods in a lot of places in March, but Shooters American Diner is right up there, as is The Spice Bank, great for eating in on both occasions.

I used to eat out a lot before moving here from north london, unfortunately there isn't anywhere in March that has ever come up to the standards I was used to. There is a Chinese malaysiani fusion place in Godmanchester that is quite good but you need to phone ahead. http://www.yelp.co.uk/biz/cinta-restaurant-and-takeaway-chinese-and-malaysian-huntingdon The Plate and Porter stank and the food was a very poor atempt to be posh. the one at Manea is better but lacks atmosphere.

The Golden Lion in Stonea, a bit of a trek. But well worth it. Food is great, atmosphere is great. It is a pub, but they do a great carvery on a sunday. Worth ringing before heading over though to see if they can fit you in:)
