No permit needed for free-standing shades. Permits needed for corrals and fences, though. Dan Lilja is an excellent handyman and will work with you. He is honest, kind and also highly skilled. Can't say enough good about him! He will also know about permit rules and regulations, as he lives in Hidden Valley.
