Dr. John Stroop gets our vote! Wonderful, kind and gentle man. We really like his approach to orthodontics. He is current on all the latest treatment methods, but doesn't automatically try to get you to do the whole "let's start young and do two ful l sets of braces" on everyone. We know many people who have sent their kids to him and I have yet to hear of one with the same exact treatment plan. He also gives options so you can make a good choice for your child. For example -- head gear vs. Herbst appliance. Head gear is cheaper, Herbst is expensive. A younger child might take off the head gear. A Herbst is permanent. He let us choose based on our budget and our child. Two different ways to get to the same end. Can't say enough good stuff about Dr. Stroop!

I called and he met me and my son within an hour... painfully repositioned his teeth, replaced the brackets...No extra charge for the emergency visit..

My wife Melissa Selby is a NP and she has worked with a few of the better physicians in the area that you are looking for as she completed her rotations. I would say ask her and she can fill you in for those needs. She is well connected to several of them. If you need a good insurance agent I would be the guy for that, and we have clients in those arenas as well.
