LC S. replied:
I pass no judgement on you, but I would ask you to consider researching declawing. If it is furniture your concerned about, I can assure you, having 2 cats myself, that they can be trained to only use scratch pads with a spray bottle of water. If you give them the right scratch pads from the beginning you may not even need to spritz the cat. With that said, https://www.facebook.com/192790937410131Wilson Veterinary Hospital in Romeo is an amazing group! Reasonable, 24 hour emergency care and regular office hours too. Good luck!
Any recommendation for a great cat veterinarian in the area?

Our dog was sick and wouldn't eat. Took her to Brooks twice. After 10 days. She had blood and puss coming out of her eye.Took her to Wilson's Animal Hospital and they pulled an abscess tooth. They were half the price of Brooks. We now been taking both dogs their. It's a bit of a ride to 32 mile and Van Dyke. But it will save you money.

Lakeside Vet in New Baltimore is good, and they're cheap. I can't tell you exact price, but I had to take my cat for spay, antibiotics, a two day stay, and hormones and I only paid 233. The antibiotics, two day stay, and horomones were for a different issue.

Dotti J. replied:
NOT SAYING ANYTHING is wrong with Dr. Robyn....I've had two dogs die in less than 6 mos. the whole office is great. But, after spending a couple grand...I need a financial break for a bit. I continue to go there....Staff is awesome...don't get me wrong. I'm just a little cash hurting after putting two dogs down.
Vicki R. replied:
I took my Vinnie to SNAP during their free spay & neuter program - they were awesome. I will never take another cat or any animal to All About Animals. I took a bunch of cats there to have spay/neutered and 3 of them came back with distemper (they were perfectly healthy before I took them in). I lost all my cats - probably 15 and 1/2 of the cats from the farm next door. One cat survived - with the help of Dr. Brooks. Be careful where you go!
Gloria B. replied:
Dr Brooks ~ he is great - just had to put my dog down - came as a shock - he took time to even call me on a Sunday when I was having problems with meds before putting her down. And he was just caring - I will continue to go to him with my other dog. I went some where else for a while - and was not as pleased.
