I've been having some hip issues for a while and I am finally considering seeing a doctor. Any recommendations? My primary care physician just retired so I don't even...
Beth M. replied:
I like Dr. Goh for primary. I have also had success with Orthopedic Associates in Marlboro if you don't need a referral.
Bridget F. replied:
Dr. Snyder at Newton Wellesley.

I like Performance Health Center in Natick. All 3 of the Chiropractors are good and two of them are triathletes. They treat a lot of athletes. http://www.performancehealthcenter.com/
Jim M. replied:
Jean, I would try physical therapy as a first step - Paul at Middlesex Rehab is awesome! Right on Central St in H-Town.
Michael M. replied:
If Rehab does not work I like Dr Hagen at Marlborough Orthopedics. He is a Triathlete and knows all about running issues. He is also ahead of Orthodepics at Marlborough Hospital.
Jen H. replied:
I had a hip injury a while back and saw Dr. Mancini - he was excellent. He didn't waste time and got straight to diagnostics to figure out how to fix it. He's sports medicine so he won't just tell you to rest it unless that is absolutely necessary.
Hi all,
I am looking for a new primary care physician in the Boston, MA area. This rubber puppy needs to get a checkup since I haven't had one in over 6 years, now....
Brent P. replied:
I use Ethan Brackett at Fenway Health (South End), and he is awesome! Definitely open-minded, helpful, and easy to talk to. Not totally sure if he's taking patients? But honestly, anyone at Fenway has a high chance of being awesome.
Ranter H. replied:
I'll second that...give Fenway Health a call. I use them for primary, vision, and dental...and they're always super helpful and flexible. Even though taking care if the less fortunate is a big part of what they do, I've never found their facilities and care anything short of top notch. And...all my kink friends that use them are completely open about their lifestyles (my doc knows everything and we've had discussions about everything from rubber rash to the implications of fisting).
Doug S. replied:
Fenway Health Here as well, but over at 1340 Boylston
Has anyone seen orthopedics for knees? How was it? Would you recommend it? and would you recommend any doctor you knew? My knee pain is still moderate but annoying, I...
Michael L. replied:
I worked with Boston Sports and Shoulder Center in Waltham for my ankle. They were awesome. They also do knees. I don't have a specific doctor, mine was a foot and ankle specialist.
