I second Dr. Loula or Dr. Cole. Dr. Loula will do farm calls, best to haul to Dr. Cole unless he is doing multiple horses so the haul in fee can be split over several. They are the best in the area- best to use a DVM, not a "dentist" that is not a vet.

We really like marshfield family dental, especially for the kids, if they need something special he refers them to Arquitt in springfield. Sammie Brakebill may be able to help you with how to get involved around the community, she is really involved in event planning and is a really great person! As for social groups, I live in conway so I don't know much programs, but I just recently joined a power to the she workout & learning to live yourself class held my cfc marshfield in the crossfit building. It's women only and I love it so far! Great way to make friends!

If you like theater, Marshfield has a community theatre group that welcomes all newbies. They are constantly fundraising and love help from people with those talents. Check out their Facebook page: Marshfield Community Theatre or website marshfieldtheatre.org

I've used Dr. Sara Phillips and have helped a friend who had a horse done by Dr. Loula. Both did a fine job. I've also used Dr. Cole for many years. He specializes in equine dentistry and has a set of portable stocks he can bring to your place or you can haul in to his (heated) clinic. In my opinion you get what you pay for. If you think your horse needs anything other than a basic floating, I'd start with Dr. Cole. The phone number posted above is the one I have for him.

Dr. Snodgrass is great but it took me over a month to get in with a broken tooth and being in pain. I went back to Dr. Cline in Springfield. I get in very quickly when I need to and she is great with cowards like me and with kids.
