Any recommendations on a local place that sells wooden porch swings? I have been to all of the big box stores, with no luck, and google searches only provide online...

You could try here - they always have adirondack chairs sitting outside and I believe I saw a swing there were once. They are in Loveland. http://www.handcraftedamish.com/index.html

Go to Keim Family Market. Handmade Amish porch swings start at $150 and you will not be disappointed! The place is amazing and well worth the drive (approximately one hour from Mason). At the very least, you have to go there and check out the bakery. Best baked goods ever. http://www.keimfamilymarket.com/
If you're not in a hurry, it's worth checking the Midwest Furniture Clearance Center on Commerce Center Blve off Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd and the Pottery Barn outlet in Jeffersonville. Hit or miss on both!

Liz Hewitt, do you mean Cedar Hill Furniture? That is also a great place. We've found better success with it if we find something we like (like a La-z-Boy piece) and go there to talk price. However, it is also pretty amazing.
