If they can get a day trip/transfer to Las Palmas, it's quite easy for wheelchair users. The paseo is 5 kms of pedestrianised and ramped access with bars and restaurants. The public city buses also have wheelchair ramps and spaces on them. There's also a staffed Red Cross bathing station at the intersection with Calle Luis Morote, with wheelchair/disability access, parking space and where the underground changing rooms, showers and lockers are also situated.
