We just had some work done on our roof by All American Home Improvement - definitely DON'T recommend them. My wife got a couple quotes... nobody ever got back to her in a timely manner. Completely unprofessional. When we finally get the paperwork done and the day scheduled, he sends him team to do the work. Without going into details, the workers make a huge mess and have a really shitty attitude. My wife calls the boss to complain and he apologizes and says to take $100 off the total. If you like to deal with shitty attitudes, this is the company for you.

My father and I have both used Shingle It II. They service both Nassau and Suffolk. I got estimates for completely replacing my roof that ranged from $15,000 to $9,000. Single It II was the lowest bid and they did an excellent job. Entire thing done in a single day and no mess left behind. When I used them, they had a secretary that handled all of the scheduling and we arranged it via text which was great. All of the other contractors answered themselves which is good, until you need to ask them a question/get a quote and you realize they are on a job 5 days a week.

Have you tried angies list? After I bought my home a couple years ago, I used a bunch of contractors from there and wasn’t disappointed with a single one. Also, if you want a decent recommendation from this sub, you should say what town you’re in or at least county. LI is a big place...

There is no reason to wait until Spring 2021 to replace the roof. I had my roof done recently, and many of the roof companies stated that they work during winter as long as it is not snowing or raining. I recommend Alexander Home Improvement because the price was only $6,500. I doubt you will find any company lower than that. They guarantee the roof withstands a hurricane with 130 MPH winds and will fix roof leaks free for 3 years. They sell extended warranties to extend that time if you want.

Expressway Roofing...they've done two jobs for me and both were excellent. They stay on budget and do great work.
