There is a pediatric dentist by mercy her last name starts with an A. As far as girdlestone goes he was the dentist that terrified my daughter. Tvs are not everything. At 13 my daughter still doesnt like the dentist to fill or pull anything. We go to Dr Doherty on Lincoln way and love him he is great with kids at least 6 and over I know for sure:-)

Dr Girdlestone pediatric dentist is the best. My daughter has anxiety over anything medical do to health issues. One time after just getting out of hospital she was terrified, so Dr Girdlestone let us hold her while he did her teeth. He made it work, it was even his suggestion. Now she hops right into his chair and trusts him fully.

My daughter was the same way for many many years. I cant even tell you how many different offices I took my daughter to. The only one to make her comfortable was Dr Catherine Forrester at Canton Smiles on Whipple. I truly cant say enough nice things about the entire staff there!!!

I've heard good things about Dr Wilson in Canton Also stay away from Jeremy lanzer and Steven Peters. I went to them when I was a teen and they screwed mine up to where all the ones they filled/drilled had to be pulled with in a year

Dr Petit is EXCELLENT! She isn't cheap but she does quality work! I don't know about the Insurance but She probably can work something out. She is on Wales Rd. I've been to a number of Dentists in my time and she beats all. In the past My dentist retired and then passed away. He was great too!

They just opened up a pediatric dental office in Wooster that is supposed to be a 2 nd office of the Canton location. Took my daughter to the Wooster location about a month ago and it was a great experience. Highly recommend. Research some place that does sedation... bc trust me it's just as stressful for us to work on you if you're not comfortable or are scared... Usually if you have a good dentist and staff your fears get eased. The only office I know of off hand that does sedation is Dr Forester. The ones you listed are corporate offices and I would personally recommend a private practice. Good luck.

I'm not able to log into the CareSource site to find any individual providers. I would start with their website. I believe the corporate chains- Aspen, Bright Now, etc. accept CareSource. You may want to contact the Stark County Dental Society at 330-305-6637 if you don't have any luck with the CareSource site.

I've not had a bad experience with Buckeye Dental and my kids have gone there for about 5 or 6 years. My kids like them too. Dentists and their assistants are personable and they have been the same since we've been with them, no turn-overs of employees.
