We see Dr. Hiren Patel at Regal Oaks Dentistry. The office is near the Simmons Y, off Albemarle Rd. They are super nice there, will work with you on payments and always file insurance for you.

Rene Katkowski, the office does see children as well, but we send ours to a pediatric practice that we LOVE! They also file insurance for us. Dr. Jason Speratti is our guy--super cool with crazy retro cartoon t-shirts and a pony tail. LOVE LOVE LOVE him! I think I remember you talking about him also!

Dr. Wolfe at New Town Dentistry is fantastic and he has a lovely young family so I am sure you can relate:) He was also super thoughtful when cleaning or doing other procedures when I was pregnant! And all of our kids go there as well, so no need for a second pediatric dentist.

Christopher Phelps at Carolinas Dental Center is amazing. The office is very high tech and his staff are phenomenal! Kristin and Heather are my two favorite hygienists there. Jennica Reis is a patient there as well and would recommend them as well!

Thanks for the input everyone! I ended up going to New Town Dentistry, since they were able to get me in right away (it was a semi-emergency, a tooth cap fell out!). I saw Dr. Wolfe this afternoon and he was excellent! He fixed the problem and was very sensitive to my needs with being pregnant. Thanks again for the recommendations!

I have to put in a plug for our dentists Dr. Richardson, Dr. Galich and Dr. Gickling in Monroe. Very experienced staff and all are excellent dentists. Dr. Gickling is great with kids and does clear correct braces. (although New Town sounds great too Wanda).

Sun Valley Family Dentistry around the corner from Harris Teeter near Sun Valley HS. Great lady Dentist and the kids are allowed to watch cartoons while getting teeth worked on, parents are allowed in the back (went to one that wouldn't allow parents into the exam room) and often Myrna was allowed to hold the drainage tube while waiting for the anesthesia to take.

It's a drive, but Dr. Kazemian in Monroe is absolutely the best. He removed my wisdom teeth and called AND emailed me more than once to see how I was doing. Never had a doctor or dentist with that kind of follow up before. Super nice guy.

We love Landmark Dentistry in Matthews and Burrow and Case Orthodontics at Stonecrest. Not sure how their prices compare though. I can tell you we paid $2300 for Emma's braces after our insurance discount.
