Mystery solved! I checked my 1937 Lake County Atlas and Directory, and both are listed. Pelat's at 152 Main St, and Matchett's is advertised as Dining Room, Coffee Shop and Cocktail Bar in the Parmly Hotel at Main Street and Park Place.
