Dr. Rosie Belandres-Hicban in Edinburg is fantastic. You will have to wait about an hour to see her but that is only because she takes her time with each patient and diagnosis correctly the first time. So worth the wait let me tell you...

Dr. Syed R Husain in mission and Edinburg, at Valley Pediatric Clinic. Syed and his PA are very good, plus they always listen to what the parents have to say. I've been taking my son there since he was 4 months. His accent is understandable and knows his patents by their name, it takes time of course. His PA has been there about Two years and you can always recommend Syed when you call, they should be able to tell you what facility he is in for the day. My experience with Dr Garza office is it is dirty and I did not like his staff, most of them were young kids. You definitely will not find a perfect clinic but either the Dr is awesome and staff is eghhh, or the whole place is dirty. Just depends on what you are willing to over look. I would definitely would pick a place with a great Dr, someone who you can call in a pinch and a short wait time, I am using jimenez pediatric right now. So Sofar things are good. Addison like Dr David.

Arlene Sanchez is pretty good. James dr. (956) 381-4888. You only see her. No PAs. She also doesn't have a huge wait time. I've been to douglas. Wait is ridiculous but they are open on weekends.

Dr. Perez was my OB and then became my children's doctor after I gave birth to my youngest. The only negative thing is the wait at times, since they are very good doctors and have to run to the hospital to deliver a baby and appts may be canceled. But after visiting different pediatricians in the valley, I'm happiest with them as far as care and service.

Dr. Scot Johnson on 10 th street. We love him and his NPs. His Office has a sick children area and a well children area.

We always went to McAllen pediatric associates. Dr Naylor was so sweet. She'd hook us up when we were too broke to pay the office visit or get meds.

Dr Naylor was sensitive to the fact I was in nsg school and would take that into account. I don't know if she's still at that practice though. It's been 4 years!
