Dr. Lorie Johnson (678)-814-4700. Located in Locust Grove.It is called Just For You OBGYN. She has her own practice and is the only Dr in the office. You don't have to worry about seeing a different Dr every time you go to your appt. Another thing I like about her is that all after hours office calls go straight to her cell phone and she picks right up. No leaving a message and waiting on her to call you back. She is AMAZING. She is very personable and sweet. She takes time with her patients and makes you feel special. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER

Southern Regional is the BEST. My daughter was just born on Monday. She came 12 weeks early. My water broke Saturday at 230 AM. From the time I got to the hospital until the time I had to leave, everyone from the registration all the way down to the housekeeping were extremely friendly. The nursing staff, lactation nurses, and NICU nurses and Dr were very informative. They did a great job preparing my husband and I on our daughter going into the NICU. It broke our hearts having to leave the hospital without her but I know without a shadow of a doubt that she is being taking care of. There are only 2 NICU Drs and they rotate. They are there 24/7 and never leave. So if something happens in the middle of the night they are right there. And you can call anytime of day to check on your baby. AWESOME hospital. I will not deliver anywhere else

Southern Regional is great! I have worked there 20 years and wouldn't go anyplace else!

Schilling Women's Center in Stockbridge is the best! Dr. Schilling and Dr. Sea are awesome. The entire staff is amazing.

I live in McDonough three miles from Piedmont Henry yet I chose to drive to Fayetteville. My doctor is with Womens Specialist of Fayetteville. I just had a hysterectomy two weeks ago at Piedmont Fayette and the staff and hospital were wonderful! I would highly recommend this hospital. Myself and my family had terrible experiences at Piedmont Henry.

I'm sure you can have a bad experience anywhere you go. Henry has had more than their share of nightmare stories however. I would never go back. I had my daughter at Southern Regional and had a great experience. I have heard wonderful things about Piedmont Fayette also. Good luck, wherever you end up!

I would not recommend Just for You women's healthcare or Dr. Lori Johnson at all! At 40 weeks when I didn't agree with a decision she wanted to make for my pregnancy she actually yelled at me and belittled me and when I tried to speak and explain she would cut me off and talk over me. She kept telling me my baby would die (which she is fine and healthy 2 mos old now) and finally threatened to drop me from care if I didn't so what she said (which is illegal at 40 wks). When we left the room the whole office was standing around listening bc she was yelling so loudly at me. I ended up delivering at Piedmont fayette with an on call dr bc she told me if I showed up at southern regional in labor she would refuse to care for me since I wanted to go past 40 wks 6 days.

other than people who have had their babies there...I don't know of anyone who would EVER go to Henry Piedmont by choice..the hospital has always been crappy & the name change didnt change anything with them ...go NORTH for sure

I went to Women's Health Specialist and had Dr. Macintosh deliver my daughter and Amanda, one of the midwives deliver my son; both at Piedmont Henry. Great experiences both times with the OB doctor, nurses, and anesthesiologist (I think his name was John, he introduces himself by his first name). Everything was great overall.

Schilling Women's Center: John Schilling MD Address: 290 Country Club Dr, Stockbridge, GA 30281 Phone:(770) 474-7151 I loved the fact that Dr. Schilling answers his own after hours phone and not an answering service! He is an older gentleman who has quite the sense of humor and kept me laughing even though I was nervous seeing a male OBGYN for the first time. He delivered my twins 8 years ago come December, and even came to visit me in my room again before I was discharged from the hospital. I delivered at Henry Medical and had no problems at all with the cleanliness, professionalism, and friendliness of the staff. They had just finished updating their birthing section of the hospital when my twins were due.
