the rumors had to come from somewhere. id NEVER take my kids to any doctor who ive heard as many bad experiences about. Ill stick with Dr. Barnwell. i know my kids are safe with him

I wouldn't take my kids back to Dr. Mynatt ever....even if he was the only local pediatrician I would drive as far as necessary to see someone else. Once was more than enough for my boys. He's awful.

Dr. Barnwell at South Atlanta Pediatrics is wonderful!!!! My son is seven and has been going to him since birth! He's not your typical doctor who rushes you through. He takes time to get to know you and answer any questions you have. We love and trust him completely!

Dr. Mynatt Locust Grove Pediatrics. He is awesome ad so is his entire staff. My kids love him and we have been going there for 7 years. You won't be disappointed!

Well my children have been seeing Dr. Mynatt since they were born, I wouldn't have it any other way, Dr. Mynatt is blunt and he doesnt beat around the bush but I wouldn't want him to!!! Sorry you had a bad experience!

I happen to love Soriano & Astacio! I've used them for 16 yrs and not a single problem. Ms. Felicia is amazing but it's true some people are never satisfied. It sounds like you have alot of good info and a good place to start!

I say Dr Danits in Morrow too. I went to him and I am 43. My kids went to him and they are 22 and 19. Hes a great doctor and doesn't rush to use prescription medicine.

What's wrong with Dr. Soriano? We didn't have any problems with him before we moved. We use Coker now and like them as we'll.

NO. DO NOT USE DR. ASTACIO OR DR. SORIANO. They are the worst Drs I've ever seen. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy. Please, if you love your children, do not use Dr Soriano or Dr Astacio.

We use dr astacio (takes Medicaid),.. 350 huntington place court, can't remember name of it, but you can look up address, phone is 770-957-3393, every time we have gone in, if he's not available someone else sees us, so that we don't have a huge wait time, never really busy when we go in either. Friendly, listen to concerns etc.

Dr. Barnwell in locust grove. He is really awesome I have a 9 year old girl and a 9 month old boy and both of then have seen Dr. Barnwell since birth! He is a really great doctor. In the office there is also Dr. Colton and Dr. White both females and I have seen both of them as well and they are great too I just prefer Dr. Barnwell! !! I live in Mcdonough and they are worth the extra drive. The office is called South Atlanta Pediatrics.

South Atlanta Pediatrics has the same doctors in rotation with no PA. If you only go to the LG office, you will always see the same two but usually Dr. Barnwell and he's pretty amazing!

I had the same issue with my Grandson. He now goes to Dr. Veronica Thelford at Family Care Medical in Morrow.

I work at Ron Smith Pediatrics (we are on Jonesboro Rd in the Shane's shopping center. NOT because I work there but from a parent perspective, I love to see (and work with) ALL of our providers. Dr. Smith is a wonderful doctor and the NPs there are equally as awesome !!!

I agree that Dr. Ron Smith is the best! I did two student rotations and some prn work there. Very impressed and I know the Wilkerson family uses them.:)

I use McDonough Pediatrics. I've used them since Jasper was born and he's 8 now. Landen has always loved them too. Good environment, staff is always nice and the Dr's seem right on. Plus they have really neat rooms:)

Definitely Ron Smith! The whole staff is excellent. Wait times are never long. And they save your time and money by allowing you to email them. Braylin had hit her head on a Saturday evening around seven. I emailed Dr Ron with a picture and he responded within 30 minutes telling me what to check, what would be normal, and what to look for if it's serious enough to take to the hospital. I've used the email several times and always get a response 30 minutes-1 hour after sending it.

I switched to Dr. Leard when my little one was born...have been very happy with him. He's right next to the hospital. Super nice, patient and will take the time if you need him to. Nurses are nice & helpful too. He is alone in the practice, so sometimes you have to wait, but usually not too bad. And I have found that typically if there is a wait, then they are good. That's terrible that happened. Let me know if you want more info on Leard.

Kids First Pediatrics in Stockbridge is wonderful. Even taking Zoe there since she was a baby. I used to drive from Covington to Stockbridge.

I'm surprised to hear that about your pediatrician...he never struck me as that type but you never can tell. We had a horrible experience with Dr. Mynatt in LG but some people love him. My boys love Dr. Barnwell with South Atlanta Peds. He has office in LG and Riverdale.

Mynatt is a joke. Very distant and stares at a computer the whole time. And misdiagnosed my oldest when she had rsv. Dr. Mathew at tri-county pediatrics is amazing. She has been the only doctor to help khloe nd her issues.

Dr. Leard right beside Piedmont Henry. My daughter goes and he is super nice. I don't wait long in the waiting room. Im usually in and out in an hr. He also will send prescriptions over without you having to come in. Good luck in your search.

Ron smith isn't accepting new medicate patients. Dr sankhran has Parkinson's and is slowly losing his mind too. Lol. I'm gonna take Lucy Grace to Dr Mynett.

We love Locust Grove Pediatrics (right near Tanger--about 10 min from McD square)...Dr John Mynatt and all the PAs (who we mainly schedule our appts with) are awesome!

Dr. Odell Barnwell and he is in Locust grove. He really takes time with you and your child. He is a Christian and is just a great Doctor All around. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Potts hes in Hampton by the race track I got Brittani Nicole Stockstill taking the girls there they are good doctors.

Definitely not Eagles Landing Family Practice! And they aren't Pediatricians anyway.

I've been using McDonough pediatrics since David Johnson was born in 1996. Dr. Sankaran has been good for us. But neither of my kids have had a lot of sickness either. They've both been very healthy. But I will say. His office staff have been there for many years and some are the same as when we started going there. That speaks volumes that they are happy working together and for him. I love his just ms. Judy. She is my favorite.

Dr Ron smith!!! He is amazing!!!! He loves email- and tries to keep you out of the office as much as possible. He writes back almost immediately! The office staff is great too!! I can't say anything negative. They are flexible and always available. The email was the best thing for me! New mom means I always have a million questions! Lol
