Lakemoor Dental! The Dr's and staff are very honest, reliable, decent, and pain free. I despise going to the dentist, however Dr Patel is the only Dentist I trust! To the gentlemen John, Doctors do charge an office visit. It could have been a simple misunderstanding between both your friend and the staff or maybe they hired someone new and didn't know pricing. Unfortunately you do not know the whole story only half. They are nothing like a used car dealer. However you and I are both allowed to have our own opinions, Mine is based on experience and fact whereas yours is second-hand or hearsay. They have always been upfront with what the cost has been.

I use Dr Halihan in crystal lake. Very good dentist. I also sell dental insurance and can get you a check for $100 for your cleaning. No waiting periods either.

My family is happy with Dr. Randy Halihan Family Dentistry in Crystal Lake. I needed a dentist close to home since I moved out there, and Dr. and his hygienists have been wonderful. I'm probably pickier than most since my uncle is a dentist and mother in law is a hygienist!

I use Dr. Opon. She is located at the top of the big hill on 31 just before getting to 176. Very friendly people there. Might recommend what work you should have done, but won't pressure you into it.

Stay away from Dr. Sturt (McHenry Smile Ctr). Him & his assistant used to bicker back and forth while I was in the chair. Dr. Browne by Goodwill in McHenry is good or we see Dr Halihan in CL now. His one receptionist is a bitch but everyone else there is awesome. Great hygentist too.
