Ok Oregonians! I need recommendations for a new neurologist. Southern Oregon preferred, but may consider Portland area and even Bend too since I can't seem to find one...
Jessi W. replied:
There's also something called neurofeedback - they do it at Trinity Counseling. It's like biofeedback for the brain and I've heard it can really help with migraines. OHP may cover some of it. http://www.eeginfo.com/what-is-neurofeedback.jsp

Dr Oscar Sanchez at Medford medical clinic is my guy.
Shanna...I had to go to Portland (OHSU) to find a surgeon who would operate on my stomach. I ended up with Dr. Robert Martindale, thank God. He is a "digestive specialist," so I'm not sure about any others there, but I would bet OHSU would also have some really good neurologists as well.
Jeff-Shawna A. replied:
Dr Ali in ashland. I am seeing him and love how he listens and told me we would not stop till we had answers and a solution or plan in place
Katie M. replied:
Shanna, Have you tried Dr. Narus? (Medford) My mom sees him and likes him. Has a lot of experience. He is gone once a month because he teaches neurology student doctors at OHSU. Currently accepting new patients.

Joni E. replied:
Was the accident just recently? If so, did she go to the ER? The only neuro I know of is the one I go to: Jonathan Orwitz 609-261-7600. He's in Lumberton right on 541.
