My family highly recommends Dr. Baldwin at LLUMC. My father had prostate cancer. Dr. Baldwin removed his prostate and announced it was the largest one he had ever seen. My fathers PSA levels have been at 0 ever since. Baldwin is an excellent urologist. I would at least schedule a consultation. Good luck!

As everyone else has stated - Loma Linda offers Proton Therapy which is specifically aimed at treating prostate cancer.

Dr Jeffrey Yoshida at Hoag Hospital in Newport. He is the epitome of a prorate surgeon, uses the DaVinci robotic machine using cutting edge technology (pardon the pun). I've referred many people, all of whom, had exceptional results.

Dr Steve Dong in San Bernardino and operates at St Bernardine MC. He is a top notch physician IMO and is an expert with the DaVinci robot. If I ever needed a urologist, I'd definitely see him.

American Cancer Society has a lot of resources you should call them.

We have been battling this for 19 years, started. Chemo a week ago today. Dr. Tsang.

Loma Linda and USC medical center are the best in Proton Therapy. USC also has awesome robotic surgeries too.

Loma LInda is the best from what I heard. Some friends of ours went there and they live in Maryland.

Both the Mayo Clinic in MN and MD Anderson in TX are well known cancer facilities.

Loma Linda is good. My dad went through them in 2005. He did proton therapy there. That helped and now he is cancer free.

I'd google it and look for patients comments. Loma Linda but it's a teaching hospital. Too many cooks in the kitchen. You may never see the same doctor twice as was my experience with brain surgery. Not the same situation but something to think about.

I took my grandma to Dr. Larsen. He had an abrupt bedside manner that agitated her. We switched a wonderful and kind neurologist but he is no longer there.

Joel Doughten in Riverside. He specializes in treating patients with Alzheimer and other forms of Dementia. He has his own practice across the street from Riverside community. There are so many forms of Dementia beyond Alzheimers that can all act differently. Even dehydration, inconsistent diets, meds and UTIs can cause reversible Dementia. I hope you find the answers you are looking for.

Call Loma Linda medical center. They can recommend a good Dr. Tell them you want a Dr that went to medical school there. They only take the top 1 or 2 % of people who apply for medical school from all over the world.

If you don't have your own psychologist or psychiatrist to help you with this, you can get a letter from one at www.emotionalpetsupport.com. I was concerned it was a scam too but talked with one of the doctors on the phone after filling out a lengthy questionnaire. You will get a letter from the doctor and can pay a little extra if your apartment complex needs a specific form filled out

My Dr is Dr Chabra. He's pretty good.

We use Fontana and Colton because we love our doctors. I thought of switching to Redlands but my daughter had three different doctors there and didn't like any of them.

We see Dr Floyd Andersen at Kaiser Redlands - we absolutely love him - he's an amazing doctor always listens to you, many years of experience as he's older, never rushes, he has lived in redlands for many many years and I don't know it's nice to be able to share similar local stories - I'm not sure he takes in new patients and the only thing is he sees patients Monday thru Wednesday

We have Kaiser insurance and started out in the Redlands offices. Went to many Drs and was not impressed by the ones we saw. We switched to Colton and found many we are pleased with. It's an older facility but the Drs are awesome! We go to Dr Smith and we are so pleased with him. He is very compassionate and listens to what you have to say. Good luck!

Carol Han is wonderful! I was assigned to her, then left Kaiser for awhile. Just started back with Kaiser in Jan. and am so glad I was able to be her patient again!

My mom and I like Dr. Villanueva. She is very nice and knowledgeable. She is in Internal Medicine. She doesn't fool around about getting us the care we need. My mom and I email her all the time and she tells us to come in when she doesn't feel she can take care of the problem over the phone. She is a really great Dr.

Dr boon is my doctor, and I love her. My daughter hurt her hand last week and we had to see someone new since dr Boone was full- Dr Mykonos. She's younger, but was so so so awesome. Even my 14 year old said after how much she really liked her. She had a caring energy to her, and listened to my daughters concern about her performance the next day. Also- my dad is a provider there- a PA- Ray Cervenka. He's super awesome, but I might be biased.

Not sure if you can go to the San Bernardino location, but I've seen Dr Elizabeth Smith for several years now and I've never loved a doctor more than her!! She is truly amazing and makes me feel so cared for. She always remembers info about family/personal stuff, even when I haven't been in for months. She is the best doctor I have ever had and would recommend her to anyone! She is so down to earth too.

I use the Kaiser app on my phone a lot and Dr. Boon is very good about getting back to me. Sometimes I don't even have to go in because she'll email me or call me. She's very caring and super thorough ❤❤❤

Try KP.org to see who's accepting new patients in that facility, I work at the call center and the doctors said above almost all are good but full with patients and can't accept you.

Dr Hage amazing. He did both of my boys in the hospital but if you make an appoinmemt he will do them at his office but not after a week old.

I cannot recommend Doctor Picazo enough, he is a male but he is the best OB there in my opinion. I would recommend him to anyone!

We had Doctor Tricia Lynn Fynewever, she was very nice. Also have had Doctor Bainer at the Redlands office as well, I found her professional distant to be a bit off putting, but from a pediatrician or maybe a nurse we talk to they hold her in high regard.

Dr. Courtney Martin at Loma Linda University Gynecology and Obstetrics! I'm pregnant (delivering next week) and have seen her from the beginning. She's amazing!

Dr Rudolph! He's the best!!!! I had a high risk pregnancy and a c section and he did an amazing job.

I highly recommend Dr. King, Dr. Phan, Dr. Wilson, or Dr. Carter.

For the kids I recommend Dr. Goyne at Beaver in Highland. Yes you can wait a bit to see him, but he never rushes us and take his time. If your looking for you, Dr. Yoney at Beaver Medical in Yucaipa is AMAZING. Takes her time, very knowledgeable, understanding and compassionate and the most I have waited in the lobby or the room is 10-15 minutes. She is not like what so many doctors are like these days where you wait 30 mintues in the lobby, then are finally called back and you wait another 30-45 minutes in the room and then there in and out with in 5 minutes! Plus so many...their bedside manner no longer exists. She is worth the drive!:-)

Since Dr. Gutierrez left they can't seem to keep a good doctor in that office. I tried Dr. Lewis and did not have a good experience with her. I'm not surprised she is gone. I'm glad I was able to find Dr. Carter. Since Dr. Smith passed, my daughter is now also seeing her and just loves her. Don't just settle for whoever takes over. Beaver has lots of Doctors. Its so important to find a doctor you are confident in and feel comfortable with.

My Doctor left as well so I was told by my allergy Dr that Dr King was a good choice he is at Beaver Advantage

Dr Hanson at Redlands Animal Hospital. He took good care of our cat who was with us for 16 years and a valued member of our family. We ended up losing her and Dr. Hanson was very compassionate. He seems like a true animal lover.

Redlands Animal Hospital on Colton! I don't remember the vets name, but I had an urgent issue with my kitty, and they were super kind, got me in that same day, and the vet took his time explaining what was wrong, and gave several options for treatment. It is a very old building, but they are kind and their prices are reasonable

There is one on Colton Ave right next to El Burrito....It might be Redlands Animal Hospital......I have heard good things about them

Redlands Animal Hospital is great. We have a dog, but I've seen how they treat cats, and they are great with both. I use Dr. Blanchard and highly recommend her.

Animal Medical Center of Redlands seems pretty good they even have a separate entrance for dogs and cats . Shauna McNally is very nice.

Sorry, I disagree about East Valley. Their lack of care and customer service cost our kitty unnecessary pain (and us extra money). And I wrote to them to express my dissatisfaction and never heard back. I ended up going to Beaumont Animal hospital to get her the appropriate care and was very happy there. East Valley grew too fast after their original owner left and their customer service suffered for it. If you'd like more specific detail feel free to PM me.

I second Dr. Marquez, he is my doctor...but the absolute best doctor at Redlands Kaiser is Dr. Hans (I think that is how it's spelled) he used to be in San Bernardino but is here now. Unfortunately he is so popular it's hard to be assigned to him

I think you could save yourself a lot of time, if you called all the offices and asked which doctors are accepting new patients. I do recommend Beaver Advantage, because it's never very busy, and much easier to get blood work drawn, or x-rays.. The wait is always shorter than at the larger facilities.. AND... the doctors are all really great and work in unison with each other if one should be unavailable short term...
