Has anyone dealt with their kids having a lip tie and had it reversed?
My sons pedi said it wasn't necessary but I'm just scared it'll lead to more issues
Any advice...
Rachel C. replied:
I have friends with children who had their lip tie fixed. Locally, I believe at King House Dental. Depending on the severity, it may affect their speech. It can also swallow/suck when feeding. If not fixed, they will most likely have a gap between their front teeth. You can always get a second opinion if you're unsure about it. There's also this group I found: https://m.facebook.com/groups/tonguetiebabies/

Dr Judith Strutz, dds. She is amazing and follows proper aftercare instructions. It's also recommended to seek chiropractic before and after revision.
