Maybe this organization, California Turtle and Tortise Club Inland Empire Chapter, can help you. Their FB page has the latest email to reach them. According to their page, they meet the first of the month at the Ark Church of the Nazarene 1307 Citrus Ave. in Redlands. Whatever you do please don't release to the wild. https://www.facebook.com/CTTCIE/

Do not release into the wild. They are not indigenous and are very invasive and out-compete native turtles. The orangish area is their indigenous area. The reddish areas are where people have "introduced" them to the wild. You can try the red eared slider group, too. https://www.facebook.com/groups/5587258965/

Loma Linda Pet Grooming, they're like attached to the vet's office. I think it's run by a grandma and her grandsons, they are all super sweet and I've taken my senior long hair cat to them multiple times for issues with knots and such (she has had instances where it gets so bad they've shaved her bottom, but never any cuts or anything). I've also taken my dogs there too, and my pets never seem distressed by being there.
