Katie L. replied:
I'm vegetarian (not vegan) my husband is not, we eat almost everywhere in Redlands with no trouble because most of the time they can do "no meat" or "meat on the side".we lIke Naan Cafe for Indian, Romano's for Italian (unless you can go to Highland and then we love Two Guys), Eureka Burger has a great veggie burger, Open Kitchen for chinese, Las Fuentas or Cuca's for mexican. On Hospitality lane in San Bernardino is Claim Jumper and they have an entire section that's vegetarian; also Bj's and Lotus Garden are good for veges and non-veges.
Riki G. replied:
I love Happy Family as well. There's also a place called Noodle 21 on Alabama Street in the same parking lot as JC Penney.
Autumn B. replied:
I'm vegetarian who doesn't love asian food, so here's my list of veg/vegan options: I love Mexican food. Joses' is amazing and doesn't use lard in their beans (redlands and Yucaipa) The State' has a great veggie burger. I LOVE Queen Bean in Yucaipa for their sandwiches & salads. Mona Lisa, redlands, drive thru Italian: pizza sandwich marinara no meat. Strong man Pizza (Redlands) tastes amazing and also offers vegan pizza on their menu we have that delivered often. And yes, as mentioned Vegan Corner is a great pizza place too! (just further. Colton). I feel I can usually eat anywhere, Bricks and Birch La Volata (pizza/salad) Dhat Island (mac and cheese, platains/beans plate, salad) common places: Cafe Rio is delicious Mexican. Macaroni Grill-pastas/salads Red Robbin-- yummy veggie burger. Spaghetti Factory--(unhealthy)broccoli smothered in butter and mizithra cheese! pasta, salads. Souplantation (San bern.) Leaving the area for a good vegan meal is what usually has to happen sadly... my top far away choice #1 118 degrees (Costa Mesa) Raw vegan food

Caprice cafe is the best in town for "finer dining" and might be even the best in the area next to duane's mission inn or mario's in riverside. In redlands my faves are: Rosa Maria's, Carolyn's Cafe for comfort food, La Volata for elevated pizza and California cuisine, the state for a gastro pub vibe, Kimo Sushi (actually trained Japanese sushi chef), the Prep Table for incredible pre-made dinners you can order and just amazing products, salad bar, etc., augies for coffee, olive market is adorable I'm there almost daily, a la minute for ice cream. Some other cute places not for dining are sugar bee's bakery and crepes of wrath. Stells coffee is also popular!
