Dr. Scott Dexter is a dentist who specializes in children with special needs. He is located near the intersection of St. Joe and Snow Rd. in Delta Twp.

I don't believe Holt Eye Care is specifically a peds opthamologist, however, they are fantastic. Maybe you could see if you could schedule a pre-appointment appointment for your children to meet a doctor to see if they are a good fit for you?
Carmen K. replied:
Discovery Smiles in Okemos. The drive is well worth it. She is a pediatric dentist, very caring staff, works very well with sensory issues.
Kimberly S. replied:
The closest pediatric ophthalmologist is in Grand Rapids but Dr. Mckersie (not sure on the spelling) with Lansing Ophthalmology in Grand Ledge works with young children. Her hours are tough to work with if you're a working mom though, so we switched to Dr. Lui with Lansing Ophthalmology in East Lansing who also works with young children. Both are very patient, have child appropriate tools to assess young children, and are experienced. We felt they were just as great as the pediatric Ophthalmologist we use to see at U of M who is no longer there.
