I have been there before. She is very good but they are expensive. I would think you need to see an ophthalmologist versus an optician. I have also seen the other woman Dr. there and she is also good. You can always call and see if they accept payments. 248-684-7337

I recently had both eyes done by Dr. Andy Dhaliwal248-697-2822. He has an office in Novi and Livonia. I didn't have any problems after the surgery and don't have to wear glasses anymore except readers. I am very satisfied.

I sell equipment to eye doctors. We are lucky to have a bunch of good ones in the area. Dr. Dhaliwal is good, also Dr. Farjo or Dr. Clark in Brighton, Dr. Holy Holm in Brighton. Im not sure were Dr Cooney operates not but I was in the OR with her years ago and she was a very good surgeon.

Do NOT go to Dr. Shabbir Khambati at Lake Lazer Eye Center in Milford....went to him simply for a glaucoma check, and he badgered me until I agreed to have a blepharoplasty (eyelid repair for sagging eyelids) on both eyes. Terrible job, no difference in my vision or the appearance of my eyes. Almost lost my vision post-op because he told me to put Neosporin on both eyelids to help them heal. Never do that, you are NOT supposed to get it in or near your eyes! It was such a fiasco that my insurance company refused to pay him anything because they said the surgery was NOT necessary. Fortunately, I did not have to pay anything because he had told me on numerous occasions prior to the surgery that it would be covered. The entire experience was a nightmare, and I put my vision at risk for no reason. By the way, he never did tell me the results of my glaucoma check. Horrible, horrible!
Beth M. replied:
Dr Wilkinson did my surgery. He is in Clarkston.
