Hello! Just wanting to ask a quick question! Has anybody ever had success booking a 'Dial A Home Doctor' in Highfields/Kleinton?? I tried to get one out tonight to see...
Patricia L. replied:
Have you tried calling Healthdirect http://www.healthdirect.gov.au/ I rang them recently for a rather nasty bump to my little ones head. The nurse did give me a phone number for a gp that would come out but it got thrown out :-( they were very good
Can anyone please recommend a good doctor in Highfields?
Belinda W. replied:
I see Shirley. She is pretty good most of the time. I just tell her what I need now. I prefer Nick and Rowland for my kids and Dr Coe has been awesome with my husband.
Virginia H. replied:
I want to know which one too. I've been through a lot (at both Medical Centres in Highfields). I've finally settled on Nick, but if ever he's not available I want to know who to avoid ;)
Jean-Marie Z. replied:
I wont say but he missed Ruan's sickness (nephrotic syndrome) and all he had to do was a urine test on the day. Will never ever go to him again. Been to Dr Coe a couple of times and he's always been great!
Melissa L. replied:
Dr Butler is very rude and uncaring.
Melissa L. replied:
Dr Annie at the one opposite Coles is very good. Found my aunt had breast cancer after two other gp's missed it.
Keith F. replied:
Dr Owen
Simone P. replied:
Dr Riley at Highfields. Across the road from Coles. I think they're open!?
Jean-Marie Z. replied:
I got in with Dr Coe. I'll go to anyone really except ONE! Thanks everyone

All the doctors at Highfields Village Medical Centre are good; but have different personalities/styles. I like Dr Shirley Butler, who tells it like it is and has a great sense of humour:)
Any GPs in Highfields who bulk bill for pensioners with chronic medical conditions. Have always been bulk billed at Village Medical Centre in the past. Another GP...
