Kimberly! When I got here, she was amazing and drove me all over the city showing me around and looking for rentals. She is a real hustler in the good sense, and a total sweetheart - https://search.brevardcountyrealty.com/idx/agent/143217/kimberly-kundrotas

As for broker, you mean a mortgage broker? We used Josh Quibodeaux in Viera (might technically be Rockledge?) I liked him a lot. That man took a situation that was going bad (first timers, and we were going through Quicken Loans at first - it was a whole mess) and made it come through. I think he closed us in something like 41 days - that was dealing with a hurricane and holidays. He never fed me any bullshit, he gave it to me straight. He walked me through everything and never made me feel stupid.
For our house, we used Echerd Realty. I’ve known Trevor for a lot of years, since we were in school together, and I liked him. But obviously dealing with a person you KNOW is different than a stranger. But he went to bat for me HARD. I *always* felt he was looking out FOR ME, not for the deal (again, YMMV, as we’re old friends)
My mom used Jason Wood at Aerospace Realty a year and a half ago, I was very impressed with him and so was she.

I am a REALTOR and I work for a high producing team in our area. I won't sell my services to you here, but I implore you to do your research before choosing an agent. You want someone that has been in business for a while (preferably over 5 years) to ensure you work with someone that knows their stuff. I say 5 years because the national statistic is that 87% of licensees are out of business in 5 years. This is NOT an easy business and you want a full-time agent that has devoted themselves to the trade. There is so much that could go wrong in a RE transaction, so you want to make sure you hire someone to prevent mistakes from the whole "you don't know what you don't know" situations that can arise.
Go online, read reviews (FB/Google/Zillow/Realtor.com) and look at their track record - have they sold listings in the areas you are interested in? Look for a agent that a) calls you back, b) gives you their full attention and that you vibe with. It's not a personality contest (after all you want someone that does the job well, not just someone that likes the same sports team or burger joint as you) but you want someone whose communication style matches yours. For example, if you hate texting, make sure your agent is happy to communicate by phone - most will prefer text/email as it provides a written record of the information exchanged , which when dealing with contract negotiation can be very valuable if there is a dispute.
There are lots of great agents in our area, but there are also a lot that aren't so great.
Good luck and if you have any questions, I'm happy to answer them - just shoot me a DM!
Happy house hunting!
