We work closely with the guys down at [Capital Sports Medicine](http://www.capitalsportsmed.co.nz/podiatry.aspx) on Featherstone street. They're awesome people. Also: * Tim Halpine at [Active feet](http://www.activefeetpodiatry.com/) * Kim Tottenham at Wakefield Podiatry * Jason Lubranksy at Kelburn Podiatry * [Tim Stewart](http://www.jvillepodclinic.co.nz/). (He's in Jville) Hope that helps!

I worked at the shoe clinic, they have free 15 minute podiatrist consults every couple of weeks. Give your local store a call and they can get you a slot

If you're looking for someone cheap, ask at some Chinese-run stores if they know anyone, or can check their Chinese business directory. There's usually some old lady working out of her garage in St Lukes or somewhere (at least there was in 2006 when I asked around). I paid $10 per shirt for hemming. Usually I'd tell you to enquire at High St clothing stores, but they'd probably all point you to The Alteration Shop in Newmarket or that place on K Rd, both of which are going to be north of $20 for what you need.
zaffle replied:
Good or cheap? You rarely find both.
Saan replied:
What ever you do, avoid the place at Sylvia Park, they fucked up two shirts of mine.

About 6 months ago I went to Silhouette Tailors (163 Queen Street) and got the hemming fixed on two pairs of suit pants. Think I got them to double stitch them as well so they wouldn't keep coming undone. Wasn't too expensive from what I can remember. The lady was nice and friendly and did it for me in a few days.

Is there a reasonable drycleaners in the CBD/Grafton area? I have a few shirts with collars that have yellowed, silk tie with a stain those sorts of things. In fact, if I found a place that was reasonably-priced I'd give up ironing my own fitted shirts entirely and just let them do it.

Vinny's on the corner of Manukau Rd and Ranfurly - he charged me $40.00 to taper and shorten some jeans. Awesome job. http://yellow.co.nz/y/Tailors/Sabe-Vinny+The+Tailor/101070466_1580.html

Try the tailor in lakeside mall. The ones that tailor Jean Therapys jeans.
