I need some advise? For whom should I vote for Property Appraiser? All suggestions, with reasons welcome!
Jim L. replied:
Mike I was a Massachusetts Democrat for many years and voted for several republicans back then people could belong to the party and actually still make sense and not hate everyone and everything different than they. The last republican I voted for was William Weld for Governor and he was damn good at it. I dropped the democrats and joined the rolls of the undeclared because the democrats never found their back bone they just continued to cave to the nonsense people killing agenda of the right wing bat-shit crazies there is no such thing as a moderate republican today -- just look at the national platform of the republican party and know that at any level a republican represents that hideous people hating agenda -- they work to cram their bible into our government at every level and people let them get away with it, they shit all over and demonize the poor and people let them get away with it so until the republicans can separate themselves from the EVILgelicals and the tea baggers I contend a republican in any office is working against humanity just look at the climate deniers -- I rest my case
Jim, JC (Juan Carlos) is a dear friend, inspite of his party registration. He is, by no means, a tea party member. Let's keep the debate on a level not seen on Faux entertainment (Fox news).

Randall, Gobel was NOT endorsed by the Herald. http://www.miamiherald.com/2014/07/28/4257969/the-herald-recommends.html
Mike R. replied:
Gonzalez is a definite no. Two years ago the CFC rated his voting record 100%. http://cfcoalition.com/full_article.php?article_no=398
Scott R. replied:
"They" demonize, "they" destroy, "they" hate, "they" take. Yep, there it is, Them vs Us, Red vs. Blue, Good vs. Bad. Now, Jim, who's demonizing whom? Nobody loathes the neo-GOP more than I do. "They" hijacked my party and devolved it into revival tent for the gospel of intolerance and compliant extremism. HOWEVER, as you so effortlessly demonstrate with your own intolerance, neither party or its ideological slaves are going to bludgeon people into changing their behavior or political points of view. When enough disgusted partisans learn to lower their tone, speak TO -- rather than at -- each other, and consider that certain virtues present in both parties can be applied with moderation and compromise to progress the PEOPLES' best interests, rather than the parties', we can resume a prospering democracy and stop pissing on each other in public.

Carlos Gobel is the most qualified of all candidates. He is going to bring much needed efficiency and reform
Juan-Carlos P. replied:
Jim Lynch, while I have been called an A-hole many times before, you are the first person to ever call me a member of the Tea Party. I am a proud Republican but I have always been proud to be modernist (some would say moderate) when it comes to social issues. As a legislator, I got along extremely well with my Democratic colleagues. However, even under the most partisan rhetoric, I have never said anything as blatantly partisan (or stupid) as: "there are no [Democrats] qualified for any office anywhere". It is your statement that is actually more similar to the intransigence of the Tea Party than anything I have ever said.
Frank P. replied:
Juan-Carlos Planas - please don't dignify Jim Lynch with a response.
Evan R. replied:
Eddy Gonzalez - Eddy is a good guy who cares about people and keeps his word. Political ideology aside, he was one of the most effective legislators in Tallahassee. He helped countless legislators and cities secure funding in the budget, many of which he didn't represent. He mentored young representatives to help them learn the ropes. Sometimes we have to put partisanship aside and focus on who the best person for the job is. After all, there is no democratic or republican way to appraise a home.
Peter G. replied:
David, Vote for Pedro Garcia. I had the pleasure of representing him in a matter and I cannot say enough good things about him. Besides having decades of experience in the real estate appraisal business, he is as honest and decent as they come.
Marc C. replied:
i like Randall Layman for Appraiser. The guy has an opinion about everything, and that is just what you need as an appraiser. Vote Layman!
Saul C. replied:
Pedro Garcia. He already was property appraiser and got voted out only as the victim of voter fraud absentee ballot fraud. I also saw him exercising only active stability during this voting cycle when an event one of his opponents was not recognized and when he took the podium he was the first one to speak about how qualified his opponent really was.
Michael F. replied:
Alex Dominguez. Only democrat.
Norma P. replied:
Carlos Gobel! I know him personally. Very nice guy. Hardworking and honest!
Todd M. replied:
Eddy Gonzalez
